+91-00000-00000Government Model College, Basar is located near Nyigam Village under Leparada District, Arunachal Pradesh and it was established in the year 2015. The college had its humble beginnings in a Boys’ Hostel of Government Higher Secondary School, Basar. In 2019, the college was shifted to its permanent site near Nyigam Village. The college, today, is functioning from its permanent campus ensuring quality education to the last student.
The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University, Rono Hills, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh, and it follows the semestral system. The college adopted the Choice Based Credit system (CBCS) in the year 2021. From the academic session (2023-2024), the National Education Policy (NEP) - 2020 was introduced in the college, as per the regulations of Rajiv Gandhi University.
Government Model College, Basar, established in 2015, has completed 9 years of its meaningful existence. The college started its journey with the vision to inspire and motivate young students. This premier institution aims to nurture and develop the young learners of the society in terms of intellectuality and spirituality. It aims to build a healthy mind and soul among the learners.
