The National Cadet Corps (NCC) came into existence on 16th July, 1948 under the NCC Act XXXVI of 1948 under the Ministry of Defence with the objective to make up for the shortage of the Army. The Motto of the NCC is UNITY and DISCPLINE, which was adopted on 23 December 1957. In living up to its motto, the NCC strives to be, and is one of the greatest cohesive forces of our nation, bringing together the youth hailing from different parts of our country and moulding them into united, secular and disciplined citizens of our nation.The college has one company of NCC (50 SD & 50 SW) Army Wing raised under Border Area Expansion Plan of NCC in April 2021 under 22 Arunachal Pradesh Battalion NCC, Pasighat. The NCC has been raised in the college with the aim:
1. To develop character, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure, sportsmanship and ideals of selfless service among the students.
2. To create a human resource of organised, trained and motivated students, to provide leadership in all walks of life and to always be available for the service of the college, society and nation.
3. To provide a suitable environment to motivate the students to take up a career in the Armed Forces.
